Countless times in the past twenty-four+ years I’ve asked myself, “Why me?” However, this is probably not as often as others have wondered “Why her?”  These many years later we all agree that the only reasonable response is, “Why not?"

A life-changing experience in 1987 gave me a glimpse of something that led me to the awareness that life was quite different than what I thought it was. Suddenly, the panoply of fears that had plagued my life, the fear of God, death, and the belief that I must conform to someone else’s expectations for my life, came to an abrupt end.  

From 1992-1994 I lived a very monastic life, and while part of me would have loved to remain there forever, such a choice was not truly an option. However, for the past eleven years it has been my choice to live quietly and remain essentially silent regarding the experience that was the catalyst for this work, and have invested my time working with the small and extremely loyal team of scientific and academic investigators. Our work is an ongoing cognitive and meditative exploration, our task to understand the form and logic known as Mereon. From there we are working to ensure that all theoretical applications are based upon our evolving understanding while using scientific methodology. The intent has been and firmly remains that this work grows on its own merit. Celebrating and honouring the transdisciplinary nature of our group, discrete intelligences and perspectives, we are by and large able to avoid the scourge of “group think” that too often leads to fuzzy visions, the worst of which become warped and spin up little more than a short lived cult of personality.

Living wholly and loving fully is a serial choice that begins daily by conscious self-acceptance, embracing flaws, talents, and even the supposed “laugh lines’ that I am now unable to see as funny. Taking my Purpose seriously, I do my best to retain something of a karmic perspective as well as a sense of humour about my participation in this work. Both make walking, crawling, trekking, running and being carried along this path, a remarkable journey. Multiple times a day I am warmed by the unfathomable depths of grace, honoured to play with the remarkable individuals you will meet here.

My life is proof that there is a new or renewed knowledge to be found in Mereon. It is available to those who are ready to wake up and accept that the old ‘status quo’ got up and went long ago. It is available to those who know that Consciousness is rebirthed in conscience.

Mereon.org is a place to connect with others who are ready and willing to learn, and relearn what it is to be humankind. It is a safe space to find and share nuggets that will nourish the spirit. It is a place with sufficient room for minds to stretch, grow and evolve, opening ideas and changing attitudes, realizing that once we do so, the mind and heart will vehemently resists contracting back to what we once thought was normal; this is a place to meet others, and prepare to move out into our worlds with others willing to help us take new actions.

Mereon presents us with a radical new perspective of what is; a new way to comprehend and understand ourselves, our relationships, and our universe. It is a remarkable template for deciding why we do what we do, an effective new way to do what we do.  Imagine, no more trying to figure out or guess what’s normal… Imagine, being free to grow into what’s natural for you…

For those with a genuine desire to be catalysts for mutually beneficial change, change that is both meaningful and measurable, Mereon is a knowledge you will find worth taking and/or making time to explore. The essential requirements are 1) a healthy sense of humour, 2) a curious mind, and 3) an open heart. What’s more, entering into a true exploration and engaging in a deep dialogue means honouring incredulity, disbelief and doubt. There is no new dogma to be found in these pages, nor is there anything resembling “The Answer.” What you will discover is that there is a set sequential of meaningful questions that will help you find your unique answers.

The scientific and the social applications represented on this site are for those without or ready to give up the fight or need to defend some position; the renewal of something more than a vague hope for those who are bored, or sick and tired of being held hostage to someone else's sharp point.

Imagine if we had a new understanding of Consciousness... What possibilities might arise from such a knowledge? How might such understanding lead to an awakening of human conscience? Dare we imagine that the greediness and neediness too often eradicating the smallest glimmer of hope for peace on earth, be revealed by the light for the shadow it is?

My highest purpose is to live authentically, loving fully, and laughing often! Doing this while being a whole part of this remarkable team is amazing. Our mutual commitment of bringing Mereon and all of our heavenly-minded ideas down to earth for earthly good, is what gets me out of bed in the morning! Why? Because whether we want to admit it or not, Earth is the only place where we can know that what we do matters.
