Peter J. Robertson, USC, Los Angeles, California

I am on the faculty of the School of Policy, Planning, and Development at the University of Southern California, where my research and teaching interests focus on how people within organizational systems can work together more collaboratively to enhance societal well-being.

I first encountered Mereon in 1997 when Lynnclaire Dennis and I ended up in the same place at the same time – the little town of Montezuma, Costa Rica on the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula.  I was on my first sabbatical from USC, and had recently embarked on a personal journey of exploration and awakening.  Long conversations with Lynnclaire, and the insights I gained regarding both Mereon and the process through which this remarkable knowledge was coming into the world, provided for me a powerful confirmation of information and intuitions that had recently become very salient in my life.

Subsequent efforts to apprehend Mereon’s meaning left me convinced that it truly represents the basic Pattern underlying and structuring the multiverse, and is helping to bridge scientific and spiritual perspectives on the nature of reality.   Mereon’s very complex mathematical, geometric, and dynamic properties are certainly impressive, and I am excited about the progress being made applying this information to the study of the essence of life.  The wonderful work with the students in Italy has demonstrated that insights from Mereon yield significant benefits when applied in social systems, and my hope is that organizations of all types can benefit from application of principles and practices derived from a deeper understanding of what Mereon has to teach us.
