Last night the changing light in the living room once again drew me to the terrace. While it was the moon rising over Lago Maggiore that called me the night before, this time the 'call' came from behind me as thunderstorms built over the Alps following the outrageous heat of the day. No doubt you've been awed by Hubble's images of nebulae, and so it's clear why that was my first thought as I gazed in awe.
While we usually think of these star nurseries as illuminated clouds of gas and dust far away in outer space, as the receding light silhouetted the luminous billows and mountains, an infinite array of sparkling memories lifted from deep within my heart. Thoughts of those I dearly love arose, and ignited brilliant flames gratitude that grew into a bonfire of remembrance. As memories swirled, deep within cooling ashes stirred the Phoenix rose, bringing with it a renewed will to remember.
What memories will you reconsider today?
How will you apply what you have learned from the past, lessons that you passed?
What sparks will you intentionally ignite, breathing into life, dreams that only you can birth this day?
Who will be your 'midwife', helping catch and nurture this new 'being'?
Who is your Tribe, those who join you as you breathe and billow life into a bit of stardust?
What might the potential be if a new possibility is permitted to grow into all its meant to be?
