Flying in the face of Gravity

Being suspended in the universe isn’t an excuse for spiritual vertigo any more than the spin of our home planet is a reason for dizziness or fuzzy thinking. How the planet moves is much simpler than the chaos we’re creating. While we have no idea where the planet is going, where humanity's behaviour is taking us, our relationships and our environment, is all too clear.

We can’t hear or actually feel the planet travelling, but that doesn’t change the facts, or turn down the volume on the headlines that are screaming the consequences of our actions. The pain in the eyes of another human reflects facts that are obvious.

While our home travels around our Sun at a speed that snarls my brain, 67,000 mph, and pirouettes on her axis at a 1,000 mph, our actions are destroying possibilities and potential rather than transforming and evolving us to that we can survive the tidal wave of change that our actions are shaking up.

While I love to fly in my dreams, today I’m grateful for the mysterious force of gravity that keeps my feet on the ground and lets my spirit fly, the wind under my wings the realisation that by some unimaginable influece of grace, I am a participant in helping make a Divine truth become realised as a Dream come true.

What will you do today to make a positive difference in your life?

How will your actions create sustainable gifts that benefit others?

In light of Eternity, how we love ourselves and one another is truly all that matters.
